How you’ll help drive the change Joining St1, you will be part of running and developing a profitable business that invests in long-term energy solutions. As Senior Finance Data Analyst, you will own the Finance automation and analytics opportunity pipeline and drive selected use cases from problem definition through piloting, implementation, adoption and benefit tracking. You will select the most suitable approach for each business need, whether that means analytics, business intelligence, workflow automation, robotic process automation, machine learning, large language models or other emerging capabilities. You will work closely with Finance process owners, Business Control, the Finance Data Steward and Business Technology / Data & Analytics specialists. Your daily impact Identify repetitive, manual and insight-intensive Finance activities where automation, AI or analytics can create meaningful value. Maintain a portfolio of Finance automation, analytics and AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, data readiness and control requirements. Develop or coordinate practical solutions such as analyses, dashboards, workflow automations, forecasting support, anomaly detection and AI-assisted reporting. Lead proofs of concept and pilots, evaluate results and help successful solutions move into secure, maintainable production use. Drive adoption by supporting users, improving ways of working and embedding solutions into recurring Finance processes. Act as a bridge between Finance and technology teams, bringing together Finance experts, Data & Analytics specialists, automation teams and Business Technology to turn business challenges into practical, scalable solutions. Define baselines, track benefits and communicate released capacity, shorter cycle times, adoption, quality and control improvements. Build Finance capability by sharing practices, supporting experimentation and helping colleagues use modern technology responsibly and effectively. What you bring to the team We are looking for a colleague with the drive to challenge, collaborate and grow. To thrive in this role, you likely have: A relevant university degree or equivalent capability gained through experience in Finance, business analytics, information systems, engineering or a related field. Relevant experience in Finance, business control, FP&A, analytics, automation, digital transformation or technology-enabled process development. A solid understanding of Finance processes, data and controls, with the ability to identify where technology can improve outcomes.
