Product Engineer - Construction

Help shape how AI and human engineering come together to build market-leading software for the construction industry. As part of the department You will join EG's Construction R&D organisation, working on Jydacom, ERP platform used across the construction industry. You will report to Timo Valonen, Senior Manager, Construction R&D management, and work closely with developers, AI agents, Product Owners, and Product Managers on a daily basis. Most of the development team is in Mangaluru, India, while your Finnish colleagues and stakeholders are based in Jyväskylä. English is the primary working language across the team, but fluent Finnish spoken and written is required to work closely with local stakeholders. The role is based in our Jyväskylä office. The Role What you'll be doing Gather and translate customer requirements into technical solutions. Deliver the final software product full-stack — from frontend to backend and beyond to production deployment and monitoring. Ensure the whole path of quality from unit testing to production monitoring. Implement features and initiatives according to the product roadmap. Take ownership of internal tooling development. Also contribute to DevOps practices alongside the engineering team, helping maintain strong operational capability. Work closely with an Indian development team, leveraging AI in the development process. Collaborate primarily with internal stakeholders across the organization. Turning complex business logic into simple, elegant technical solutions. What You Bring We care more about what you can do than what your CV looks like. Here's what will set you up for success: Must-have Senior-level background as a software developer, with +5 years of experience. Experience with modern web development, REST API. A production delivery mindset — you build production-ready solutions designed to last. Understanding of how to build sustainable software products that meet customer needs in time while maintaining high technical quality. Experience delivering solutions fulfilling non-functional technical requirements like maintainability, performance, security, observability. Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work in an international environment. Fluent written and spoken English and Finnish. Nice-to-have Demonstrated experience designing or maintaining systems with extensive third-party integrations and complex data models. Hands-on development experience with Angular, TypeScript, .NET, and C#. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, Power BI, and Fabric. Familiarity with Windows server, IIS, Kubernetes and GitHub Actions. What's in it for you?
