Applicants should have a diploma or associate degree, about three years of HR experience, fluency in Finnish and English, and good knowledge of Finnish employment legislation and collective agreements. We are currently looking for an HR Specialist to strengthen Serres' HR team in a fixed-term assignment of approximately six months. The primary location for the role is Kauhajoki , where we hope the selected candidate will be based for most of their work. However, Espoo may also be considered for the right candidate. A versatile HR role at the heart of the business In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of HR functions. Your days may include coordinating recruitment processes, supporting managers with employment-related matters, developing HR processes, and driving initiatives related to employee wellbeing and capability development. You will act as a key partner to both managers and employees, helping ensure that HR processes run smoothly and support business objectives. At the same time, you will contribute to the development of ways of working, utilize data to support decision-making, and implement new ideas that enhance the employee experience and increase HR effectiveness. The role offers a balanced combination of operational responsibilities and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: • Coordinating recruitment activities and onboarding new employees • Managing employment-related matters and daily HR processes • Supporting managers and employees in employment-related questions • Coordinating practices and processes related to international workforce management • Supporting learning and development initiatives as well as the performance review process • Coordinating activities related to employee wellbeing, employee experience, and work ability management • HR reporting, people analytics, and the utilization of HR data • Continuous improvement of HR processes, practices, and systems This role is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys a broad HR Generalist position and wants to contribute to the development of HR operations from a truly business-oriented perspective.
