Job Description
The Compute Director, Nordic Cluster, leads compute pricing, commercial execution, partner engagement, and team enablement across Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The role connects country sales teams with DealDesk, NGQ, NWE, and worldwide pricing organizations to deliver timely, competitive, and profitable solutions.
The position operates in a matrixed environment, aligning Nordic priorities and Big Bets with regional and global strategy while leading direct and indirect teams across the cluster.
Key Responsibilities
Lead compute pricing strategy, deal structuring, approvals, and escalations across the Nordic Cluster.
Coordinate with country sales, NGQ, DealDesk, NWE, and worldwide pricing teams to meet sales timelines and improve quote-cycle times.
Apply pricing priorities, competitive insights, and value propositions—including AMD versus Intel considerations—to maximize win rates and profitability.
Incorporate Medallion, NBO, BDE, PFR, and Frontend/Backend rebate structures into pricing and partner strategies.
Assess P&L impact and balance customer value, partner economics, revenue growth, and profitability.
Translate Nordic Cluster Big Bets into actionable plans aligned with NWE and worldwide priorities.
Lead and enable a distributed compute organization of direct and indirect stakeholders.
Drive value selling, capability development, collaboration, and performance across sales, presales, channel, category, and specialist teams.
Support DSR forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial performance tracking.
Maintain knowledge of the HPE Compute, AI Compute, COM, VME, and compute security portfolios.
Build relationships with key vendors, including AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Nutanix, Commvault, and Qumulo.
Required Qualifications And Skills
Experience in compute pricing, deal structuring, commercial sales, or a related role.
Working knowledge of NGQ, DealDesk, and WW/NWE pricing processes.
Understanding of P&L impact, partner economics, rebates, NBO, BDE, and related commercial programs.
Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and time-sensitive deal execution.
Knowledge of HPE Compute, AI Compute, COM, and VME offerings.
Ability to lead and influence across countries, regional teams, and global stakeholders.
Strong prioritization, negotiation, communication, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience leading and enabling distributed teams in a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Nordic market dynamics, partner ecosystems, and competitive landscapes.
Experience with the broader compute vendor ecosystem and joint value propositions.
Background in enterprise technology, infrastructure, compute, or channel-led sales.
Success Measures
Timely, accurate, and profitable pricing delivery.
Improved quote-cycle times and Nordic Cluster win rates.
Strong alignment with NWE and worldwide priorities.
Adoption of value-selling practices and completion of team enablement.
