Sourcing Lead, Technology & SaaS

About the job Our global (and Helsinki-based) partner is looking for a Sourcing Lead, Technology & SaaS to join its Technology Procurement team on a temporary maternity leave cover. Role Summary The role is responsible for managing procurement, negotiation, renewal, and governance of enterprise IT and Security SaaS across the organization. The role acts as the commercial DRI for the Group Security unit, while also overseeing the broader IT SaaS portfolio. The ideal candidate has around 5 years of experience in Technology Sourcing , with hands-on SaaS sourcing experience. Cybersecurity sourcing experience is preferred but not required. Core Responsibilities Manage sourcing projects and strategic renewals across IT and Security SaaS Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, licensing, term structure, renewals, amendments, and contract consolidations Apply knowledge of contractual terms, commercial levers, and SaaS category best practices Conduct market research and translate insights into sourcing and negotiation plans Partner with Legal, Privacy, Finance, Security, IT, and business stakeholders Evaluate vendor proposals, pricing structures, commercial models, and associated risk Identify opportunities for cost control, contract standardization, and procurement discipline Manage vendor escalations, offboarding risk, and performance issues Support cross-entity alignment across the Group Contribute to sourcing tools, playbooks, team standards, and ways of working What We're Looking For Must-have: 4–5 years of experience in Technology Sourcing Hands-on experience with SaaS sourcing Experience in sourcing/procurement or SaaS Vendor Management Understanding of SaaS pricing, licensing, renewals, and commercial models Highly preferred: Experience with Cybersecurity / Security SaaS sourcing Knowledge of Security sourcing and working with cybersecurity teams Role Details Contract: Temporary maternity leave cover Working model: Hybrid Finnish language: Not required Reporting to: Category Manager, Technology
