Compensation & Benefits Manager

We are looking for an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to shape the next phase of our global rewards development. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to influence compensation and benefits practices across multiple countries, supporting both our business goals and employee experience. You'll work closely with HR colleagues, business leaders, and managers to ensure our reward practices are fair, competitive and transparent. In this role, you’ll be responsible for: Maintaining and developing Alma's global job architecture, salary structures, and salary bands. Developing and continuously improving global compensation, performance management, and incentive programs. Coordinating and driving annual compensation review processes and ensuring fair, competitive, and business-aligned pay practices across Alma. Conducting salary analyses, market benchmarking, and producing needed salary reporting. Managing and developing Alma's employee benefits portfolio. Providing guidance, training, and consultation on compensation-related topics to managers and employees. Following trends, best practices and legislation affecting pay and benefits. We hope you have: Several years of experience in compensation and benefits. Strong expertise in job evaluation methodologies such as Hay. Experience in salary analysis, market benchmarking and incentive design. Experience leading large-scale compensation and reward projects. Strong analytical skills and curiosity to utilize digital and AI-powered tools to improve processes and generate insights. High integrity, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English. A collaborative and proactive approach, combined with strong project management skills. In addition, the following are considered advantages: Experience working with Workday.
