Take a leading role in delivering exceptional travelling experiences Kittilä Airport serves as the gateway to some of Lapland's most popular destinations. Our Lounge is an important part of the customer journey, ensuring comfort, hospitality, and seamless service.
We are now looking for a Lead Lounge Host for the winter season at Kittilä Airport.
In this role, you will participate in daily lounge operations while also taking responsibility for coordinating key operational tasks and maintaining the highest service standards.
Your responsibilities include
- Supporting the daily operation of the Lounge
- Managing product orders and stock replenishment
- Maintaining inventory records and conducting stock counts
- Monitoring self-control and food safety procedures
- Assisting with onboarding and supporting seasonal employees
- Developing customer experience together with the team
- Working across other Premium services and customer events when required
We expect you to have
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food and beverage service
- Experience in operational responsibility or supervisory duties is considered a strong advantage
- A valid Hygiene Passport
- An Alcohol Serving Passport
- Fluent English language skills are required. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid Category B driving licence
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Previous experience in airport lounges, hotels, VIP hosting, hospitality operations, tourism services, or premium customer environments is considered an advantage.
In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Privacy in Working Life, the selected candidate must provide an approved drug test result as part of the pre-employment health examination.
Employment
The employment period starts in October-November 2026 and continues until March-April 2027.
Salary will be based on your experience and qualifications. Please include your salary expectation in your application.
