We are looking for a test automation engineers to join our Martech & Sales Technology Department in Helsinki. If you have several years of experience in test automation frameworks and want to ensure correctness, compliance, and stability of NBA (next best action, an AI-driven decision-making strategy to identify the single most relevant interaction to take with a customer real-time) outcomes across releases, including data flows across Hadoop/Cloudera, Google Cloud Platform, and Pega CDH / Infinity, then read on! Our mission is to build, govern and scale Nordea’s NBA capability as a Nordic-wide decisioning foundation, enabling relevant, data-driven and personalized customer interactions across markets, business areas and channels. We own the common decisioning frameworks, data and intelligence foundations, governance and platform enablement. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, your main responsibilities will be: Validate decision logic outcomes and eligibility behaviour Test data integration and model usage across on-prem (Hadoop/Cloudera), GCP/Snowflake and Pega CDH / Infinity Support system testing and SIT across distributed data pipelines and decisioning platforms Validate explainability, auditability, and regulatory requirements Ensure correctness and quality of data flows from Hadoop/Cloudera to GCP/Snowflake and into Pega decisioning platform Support MVP go-live and further releases Ensure compliance with Nordea Quality Standards Who You Are This is the right role for you if you have: Engineering Mindset Attention to Detail Curiosity and Continuous Learning Pragmatism and Problem-Solving Experience in Big Data Technologies: strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera/MapR) including streaming technologies Your background and skills include: Experience with leading quality assurance and test automation Hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Pytest, or similar Hands-on experience in Python, Bash, SQL, Java Practical experience with databases such as Hadoop HDFS, Apache Kafka, Apache Hive Experience with GCP CI/CD, Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, Docker Proven ability to analyze complex systems and identify quality risks Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or/and Snowflake, including data processing and storage services Experience validating data pipelines and large-scale data processing systems across on-prem and cloud environments Experience in testing data integration or decisioning outputs in Pega (CDH / Infinity) or similar systems is an advantage Proficiency in managing automated functional and non-functional testing on large-scale data infrastructure It would be ideal if you also have knowledge with: Experience with Atlassian Suite (Confluence, JIRA) Solid understanding of financial service environments ISTQB Foundation Certificate Any Pega Certifications What We Offer Collaboration.
