Tiivistelmä työpaikkailmoituksesta: You will join the NPI team in Tampere as an RTDS specialist working hands-on in the lab with RTDS and HIL simulations to validate power-electronics control for high-voltage grids using Matlab and Simulink. Your main duties are designing and running Hardware-in-the-Loop simulations, managing and developing RTDS hardware and test benches, and analyzing faults and system performance with design engineers. The role requires a university degree (M.Sc.) in Electrical, Power Electronics or Control Engineering, deep control-theory expertise, proficiency in Matlab and Simulink, clear English communication, and onsite work in Tampere. We are looking for an RTDS Specialist to join a world-class New Product Introduction (NPI) team in Tampere. About the role This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of power electronics and electrical grid technology. You will join a niche team of experts where your work directly impacts how high-voltage grids operate globally. In this position, you will be part of the NPI (New Product Introduction) team, focusing on the simulation and validation of advanced grid solutions. Your main tool will be the RTDS (Real-Time Digital Simulator), and your daily work involves Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations. Because the role requires hands-on management of RTDS hardware and laboratory equipment, this position is fully office/lab-based in Tampere. Requirements: Technical Education: A University degree ( M.Sc .) in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
