Resort Manager

Sonka Resort, Finnish Lapland | Full-time, year-round | Start date: 1 October 2026 Sonka Resort is looking for an experienced and hands-on Resort Supervisor to coordinate daily operations, support the team and ensure a consistently high-quality guest experience. Part of Arctic GM Experiences, Sonka Resort combines accommodation, guest services and Arctic experiences in Finnish Lapland. The Role As Resort Supervisor, you will oversee the resorts daily activities across reception, housekeeping and maintenance. You will set daily priorities, delegate tasks, follow up on their completion and work alongside the team whenever needed. You will handle routine operational matters independently, report to company management and coordinate with management on decisions involving budgets, purchases or other major matters. Key responsibilities \- Welcome and assist guests throughout their stay \- Coordinate daily priorities and delegate tasks to the resort team \- Follow up to ensure tasks and management assignments are completed \- Support the team during busy periods and resolve day-to-day operational issues \- Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness and resort presentation \- Carry out regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance needs \- Keep booking information, availability and guest-facing information accurate \- Provide management with clear operational updates \- Identify problems early, suggest practical solutions and improve daily routines About You We are looking for someone with hospitality experience, preferably within a hotel, resort or similar operation. You can take responsibility without needing constant direction, while understanding when management approval is required. You are: \- Proactive, resourceful and able to think outside the box \- Confident in coordinating and supporting a team \- Structured, reliable and hands-on \- Guest-focused with strong attention to quality \- Calm and solution-oriented when priorities change \- Fluent in English \- A holder of a valid Category B driving licence recognised in Finland \-Already authorised to work in Finland without employer sponsorship Experience in international hospitality, winter destinations or high-volume operations is considered an advantage.
