As part of our growing pyrolysis team, you will contribute to technology development, pilot plant operations, commissioning activities, and customer support. Your responsibilities Support the development and commercialization of Valmet's plastics pyrolysis technology. Participate in testing, commissioning, startup, and operation of pilot and demonstration plants. Analyze process performance and troubleshoot technical and operational issues. Work closely with R&D, engineering, service, and customer teams to improve plant performance and reliability. Provide technical support for customer projects, site visits, and service assignments. Contribute to the development of lifecycle services for pyrolysis plants. Expectations for you B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in plastics pyrolysis, chemical recycling, refining, petrochemicals, renewable fuels, or similar process industries. Solid understanding of industrial process equipment, process operations, and troubleshooting. Ability to read process and engineering documentation such as P&IDs and flow diagrams. Strong collaboration and communication skills. Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
