Package Engineer, Espoo

About the role As a Package Engineer, you will oversee the technical and project lifecycle of specialized equipment packages. You will serve as the vital link between our client company and their suppliers, ensuring that all technical requirements are met within a dynamic, project-driven team. You are offered - Supportive and collaborative team - A great opportunity to develop, learn and bring your own ideas into dynamic and growing project organization - International working environment - Possibility to travel occasionally on site - Flexible hybrid working model, we hope that you are at the Espoo office at least 2-3 days a week Work tasks - Define technical requirements for the assigned equipment packages - Schedule and budget of assigned equipment packages - Update delivery structure in PDM after defined freezing points - Participate in supplier selection process, e.g. technical evaluation, negotiations - Manage document flow to/from supplier - Review supplier documentation and plans - Manage inspections - Ensure delivered equipment meets the quality requirements - Receive goods - Supports logistics to get equipment delivered to site - Manage and participate in Inspections on site We are looking for - Relevant (technical) Bachelor's or Master's degree - Good technical compentence to understand and learn about components used in our client's projects - Basic understanding of project life cycle management - Fluent skills in English - Ability to travel occasionally It is considered as an advantage if you have previously worked as Package Engineer, Project Manager or similar.
