What you will do Lead and shape data engineering practices across the organization, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable data products Own and continuously develop data engineering guidelines, standards, and technology choices (including Snowflake and dbt) Act as a hands-on expert, supporting teams with practical implementation and problem-solving Coach and mentor data engineers, strengthening capabilities and ways of working Collaborate closely with internal and external data engineers to drive consistency and best practices Work cross-functionally with platform teams, governance, and business stakeholders to align on data needs and solutions Coordinate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the organization Contribute actively to UPM’s data governance initiatives and support the adoption of governance frameworks Who you are You have 7+ years’ experience working with data development and operations You have hands-on experience on Snowflake, dbt and Azure You have solid track record of identifying business needs and related value You have excellent communication and presentation skills You are good at networking and collaborating You have a consultative mindset; you are a good listener and can challenge others when necessary You are fluent in English, both spoken and written This is what we offer to you A meaningful job: We have an inspiring purpose “We renew the everyday for a future beyond fossils”.
