About the role We're looking for a Developer Experience Engineer to our new DevEx Team who is passionate about engineering effectiveness, developer experience, developer joy, and software delivery capabilities. Your mission is to make engineers more productive, effective, and successful by reducing friction across the software development lifecycle. You'll work with developer tooling, automation, CI/CD, AI capabilities, standards, and self-service platforms to create a world-class developer experience. As AI transforms software engineering, you'll help shape how our organization adopts AI-assisted and agentic development, turning emerging technologies into practical capabilities that teams can use every day. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how software engineering is practiced across the organization. You'll help define the future of developer experience and AI-enabled engineering, while creating the tools, platforms, and ways of working that allow teams to deliver their best work every day. What you will do Drive adoption of AI-assisted and agentic software development practices. Build and evolve shared AI capabilities, engineering tools, and developer platforms. Improve developer workflows, onboarding, documentation, and self-service experiences. Create reusable templates, golden paths, and standards that enable teams to move faster. Enhance CI/CD capabilities, quality gates, and software delivery processes. Measure and improve engineering effectiveness using data and developer feedback. Partner with development teams, Cloud, Security, Compliance, and Architecture to remove friction and enable secure, scalable delivery. What we’re looking for You likely have experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, developer tooling, or automation and enjoy creating solutions that help other engineers succeed. We believe you'll bring: Strong technical skills and the ability to automate and build tooling using languages such as Powershell, Python, Bash, or similar. Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices. Experience with both Windows and Linux environment Interest in and experience with AI-assisted software development. A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence through expertise rather than authority. A passion for simplifying, automating, and continuously improving the developer experience. Experience with cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, internal developer platforms, security tooling, compliance frameworks, or DORA metrics is a plus.
