Automotive Software Flasher - Muonio, Lapland

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Automotive Software Flasher to support our vehicle testing and development activities. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing test vehicles by flashing (programming) Electronic Control Units (ECUs) with the required software versions, calibrations, and updates. You will collaborate closely with Automotive analysts, vehicle technicians, and OEM engineering teams to ensure the correct implementation of software prior to, during, and after testing programs. Qualifications & Skills Essential: Vocational or bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures. Good documentation and reporting skills in English. Desirable: Experience with vehicle diagnostics and fault tracing. Some understanding of vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet). Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure flashing procedures. Hands-on experience with ECU flashing tools (OEM-specific tools) such as Idex, Odis and CP-Tool. Familiarity with automotive software development life cycle (ASPICE, ISO 26262 awareness).
