About the role As a Software Development Project Manager, you will lead key R&D initiatives within Mirka Industrial Automation, where software, robotics, process know-how and surface finishing expertise come together to create next-generation automation solutions for global industrial customers. Work tasks This role involves managing the full lifecycle of complex software and automation projects, bridging the gap between technical execution and business goals to bring innovative products to the shelf. Lead software development projects from initial concept to final market release Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams within a matrix organization Oversee the renewal and modernization of existing automation products Manage the end-to-end development of a completely new software product Apply agile methodologies to ensure efficient project delivery Facilitate communication between technical teams and internal stakeholders Ensure software integrations align with industrial automation standards We are looking for At least 3-5 years of project management experience in technology-driven environments Solid understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams Good understanding of industrial automation systems and software integration Fluent English communication skills It is meritorious if you have Knowledge of computer vision, robotics, or scanning technologies Experience with AI-based automation solutions Background in customer-oriented project implementations Relevant technical degree Proficiency in Finnish Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our client’s wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
