POSITION
Are you a Mechanical Engineering student looking for a trainee position or an opportunity to complete your thesis project? Join Geberit's ceramic factory in Ekenäs and gain valuable hands-on experience in a unique manufacturing environment. Our factory produces bathroom ceramics under the IDO, Ifö, Porsgrund and Geberit brands. Geberit in Finland employes around 250 employees.
MAIN TASKS
You will work with machine components used in pressure casting technology for ceramic production. Your tasks will include creating CAD drawings of existing pressure casting mould components using Catia. You will also work with standardizing, improving and simplifying existing components as well as evaluating material selections and identifying potential suppliers.
PROFILE
We are looking for someone who:
Is studying Mechanical Engineering at university or university of applied sciences level.
Is looking for a trainee position or thesis project opportunity.
Is in the final phase of studies or recently graduated.
Has experience with CAD software. Catia experience is an advantage, but training will be provided on-site.
Can communicate fluently in Swedish, Finnish or English.

This is a fixed-term trainee or thesis position for a period of approximately 3–6 months. The exact duration, start date and end date are flexible and can be agreed based on your studies, thesis project and our mutual needs.
