We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented safari guide who wants to share the magical moments of Lapland with our guests. Learn more about the company: https://www.staylapland.com/our-company Job Description and Responsibilities As a safari guide, your role is to provide unforgettable experiences for guests in the nature of Lapland. Your duties include guiding activities such as northern lights tours, snowmobile safaris and reindeer and husky excursions. You will be responsible for leading groups and ensuring that each excursion is memorable, informative and above all safe. The role requires clear and friendly communication with customers from diverse cultural backgrounds. You’re also comfortable adapting to changing conditions and weather. A safari guide’s role is not only to guide but also to inspire guests, share knowledge about the region’s nature and culture and make each experience unique and memorable. What We Expect from You Strong teamwork skills, while also being able to work independently and take responsibility Genuine interest in customer well-being and satisfaction Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and respond to customer needs or unexpected events Ability to learn new tasks and follow given instructions Interest in learning about Lapland’s history, culture and nature Ability to communicate clearly in English is required; other languages (Spanish, French, German, Italian) are considered an advantage Valid Category B driver’s license (manual and automatic vehicles) Wilderness skills and previous experience in similar roles are considered an advantage, however, previous experience is not required. Työhön kuuluu asiakkaille suunnattujen aktiviteettien, kuten revontuliretkien, moottorikelkkailun ja poro- ja husky safareiden opastaminen. Oppaan tulee hallita ryhmän ohjaaminen sekä varmistaa, että retkellä oleva ohjelma on viihdyttävää, informatiivista ja ennen kaikkea turvallista. Oppaan tehtävä vaatii kykyä kommunikoida selkeästi mutta ystävällisesti eri kulttuureista tulevien asiakkaiden kanssa. Lisäksi työ vaatii palveluhenkistä ja vastuullista työotetta ja valmiutta työskennellä niin muuttuvissa työtilanteissa kuin sääolosuhteissakin.
