Read more about the project here . We are currently looking for an HVAC Designer to join our diverse HVAC Design team of 27 people. You will work with a skilled team of designers from various backgrounds and be part of a multidisciplinary design and project organization. The HVAC design department is responsible for designing systems and selecting suppliers for all passenger and crew comfort systems, safety-related piping systems, and several other essential ship functions. In this role, you will be responsible for specific systems as a system-responsible designer in a ship project. You will be accountable for economical, regulatory, and qualitative design decisions throughout the project. Previous ship-related experience is not mandatory, but we hope you have around five years of experience in HVAC design. Your role includes producing drawings for the basic design phase. You will also create components and perform technical handling to support the purchasing of equipment specified in your design. In addition, you will prepare test programs and support production as a specialist in your designated systems. A typical workday includes design work, contacting suppliers, resolving design solutions together with other designers and production specialists, and participating in line organization development activities. To succeed in this role: You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field of Engineering. You have around five years of experience in HVAC design. Work experience in ventilation, heating, and cooling systems Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment are necessary.
