A requirement for consideration is a keen interest to join a thriving organisation for managed services and to develop the capabilities of Netcontrol’s cybersecurity services. In this position, it is essential to understand the difference between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT). The chosen candidate will be working with our customers who are, for example, operators in nationally critical service infrastructure. Your workplace can be either in our Helsinki or Tampere office. Your responsibilities as a Cybersecurity Expert Your main goal will be solving critical cyber incidents together with Netcontrol’s service team members, focusing more on the root cause of the incidents, rather than closing false positives. Your work will also include technical arrangements and maintenance of the cyber service infrastructure. In this position, cooperation with service management and product development is essential. Therefore you will have a possibility to continuously introduce technical solutions for more effective services, identified and adapted to our customers’ needs. Your daily work tasks are done at tier 2/3 as an analyst for solving cybersecurity incidents and as a technical expert for maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure. You will identify relevant service requirements and participate in developing services further with the service team. What we expect from you - You have an analytical mindset and are interested in emerging technologies in the field of cybersecurity - Preferably you have a few years of experience as a security analyst or system engineer - You have a relevant education in engineering, or you have otherwise acquired cybersecurity experience - You have a background or interest in OT technology and environments - You have know-how of network technologies, especially virtual networking and routing - You have experience with the processes of cybersecurity-related managed services, including practical experience of solving cyber incidents - You are able to identify possibilities in the modern cloud based services and can adapt use cases into critical infrastructure security requirements - Motivated to learn more about the field of cybersecurity - Fluent in Finnish and English Any of the following cybersecurity certificates are considered as an advantage for the position - SA / IEC 62443 Cybersecurity certificates - Ethical hacker - Network defender - Incident handler - Threat intelligence analyst What we offer Netcontrol has a high employee satisfaction rate and low staff turnover, indicating a relaxed yet professional work environment.
