Do you want to join CTS as Project Controller? About The Role The Project Controller is one of the most critical positions within the project organization. Acting as the project's independent performance analyst, the Project Controller provides the Project Director with accurate, objective, and timely information on schedule, cost, progress, and forecast performance. The Project Controller transforms project data into management information, allowing the Project Director to make informed decisions before problems become critical. A successful Project Controller ensures that the project team always knows: - Are we on schedule or behind schedule? - Are we under budget or over budget? - What are the key risks to project delivery? - What corrective actions are required? The role follows internationally recognized AACE International, ISO, PMI and best practices Project Controls principles and integrates planning, cost control, progress measurement, forecasting, and performance analysis. Your key responsibilities Schedule Control - Ensure the Critical Path accurately reflects the actual execution strategy. - Continuously protect the Critical Path by identifying emerging delays and recovery opportunities. - Analyze schedule impacts and propose mitigation measures. Progress Measurement - Develop objective progress measurement systems. - Measure physical progress across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, construction, commissioning, and handover. - Ensure progress reporting reflects actual project status rather than subjective opinions. - Produce weekly and monthly progress reports. Performance Analysis - Analyze project performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including: - Schedule Performance Index (SPI) - Cost Performance Index (CPI) - Productivity indicators - Earned Value Management (EVM) - Identify trends before they become major issues. - Prepare concise management dashboards. Forecasting - Support scenario analysis and recovery planning. - Assess the impact of risks and opportunities on project objectives. Reporting - Prepare accurate weekly and monthly project control reports. - Present project status to the Project Director and senior management. - Highlight deviations, root causes, and recommended corrective actions. - Ensure reporting is factual, transparent, and data-driven. Who this is for This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys turning complex project data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. You are highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently while maintaining an objective approach and collaborating effectively with project teams and stakeholders. You have a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline, along with a good understanding of project delivery methodologies. Experience working on mission-critical facilities or data center projects is highly desirable. You are comfortable working with project controls and planning tools, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced Excel. Experience with Power BI is an advantage, and you have knowledge of Earned Value Management, cost control, schedule analysis, progress measurement, risk analysis, and KPI development and reporting. Most importantly, you have a decision-support mindset and are confident in challenging assumptions using factual evidence. You are a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, high integrity, and a commitment to delivering accurate, reliable insights that support successful project outcomes. How you'll make an impact As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring project success by providing accurate, objective, and forward-looking project controls that enable informed decision-making. Rather than simply reporting past performance, you will identify potential risks and deviations early, helping the project team take timely corrective action before schedule delays or cost overruns become critical. Your work will provide Project Directors and key stakeholders with a clear understanding of project performance through meaningful analysis, reliable forecasting, and actionable insights. By protecting the project's critical path and measuring true physical progress, you will help drive the successful delivery of complex, fast-paced data center construction projects.
