Layout Engineer (STATCOM & Substations)

We are currently looking for two Layout Engineers to support demanding power system projects related to STATCOM and substation solutions . In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and be responsible for layout design, 3D modelling, and installation documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities Develop STATCOM and substation layouts and 3D models in Revit and SolidWorks Produce assembly, installation, and engineering documentation Coordinate layouts, interfaces, clearances, and foundation inputs Support BIM integration and design reviews Collaborate with suppliers, project teams, and site personnel throughout project execution To succeed in this role, you have Strong hands-on experience with Revit and SolidWorks Experience in layout engineering for industrial, energy, or substation projects Knowledge of 3D modelling, assembly drawings, and installation documentation Understanding of equipment arrangement, interfaces, clearances, and foundation design inputs Good understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model integration Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international project environment We offer ALTEN Finland offers a long-term opportunity to work within a skilled expert team.
