Tiivistelmä työpaikkailmoituksesta: You will be the Logistics Manager for Metso's Consumables business, responsible for regional logistics in the ECA and AFR regions and ensuring supply of screening media, wear liners and mill lining components. The role is based in Espoo or Tampere, Finland, and reports to the Senior Manager, CNS Logistics ECA. You will lead and develop logistics staff, manage shipment visibility and tracking, implement logistics processes and KPIs, and coordinate with plants, procurement, sales and service to meet customer requirements. Candidates must have logistics or supply‑chain leadership experience in mining or heavy industry, multi‑site warehouse oversight, ERP proficiency, knowledge of heavy or oversized logistics, and strong leadership and communication skills. Job posting end date : 08/07/2026 Introduction We are seeking Logistics Manager to join the Consumables business area and the regional operating hub for ECA & AFR. You will be responsible regional logistics in ECA region. You will oversee logistics operations for mining consumables, ensuring reliable supply of screening media, wear liners, mill lining components, and related products. In this role you will lead logistics strategies, transportation, and planning to support mining customers across multiple countries. This position is located either in Espoo or Tampere, Finland, and you will report to Senior Manager, CNS Logistics ECA. We work closely with both the full Consumables business area and all the market areas. What you'll do Lead and develop logistics staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Lead visibility and tracking processes for shipments to warehouses, customer facilities, mine sites, and remote locations, including both company‑arranged freight and customer‑arranged logistics partners. Implement logistics processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinate with manufacturing plants, procurement, sales, and service teams to align logistics with production schedules and customer requirements. Manage relationships with Logistics Service Providers and customs or regulatory partners. Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and transportation regulations across all logistics operations. Who you'll bring Logistics or supply chain leadership experience in mining, heavy industry, or industrial consumables. Experience overseeing multi‑site warehouse or distribution operations. Proficiency with ERP systems and logistics performance metrics. Knowledge of operational processes supporting both standard and remote delivery environments. Understanding of logistics for heavy, oversized, or high-volume components. Ability to develop and execute logistics strategies across multiple regions or countries. Strong leadership, planning and team development skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
